We are very fortunate to have so many great wineries and producers from all over the world come to support Vintage Albuquerque. What a great testament to the joy of the vine, and the wine community who are always there to support the arts and other important causes. This year, many of our favorite friends will be back, and many new ones will join us for the first time. The Thursday Wine Dinners are listed below as well as those pouring at the Friday Fiesta, and the Saturday Big Event.
But the big news is that our dear friends, former longtime Albuqerqueans, Larry and Shirlee Londer, owners of the highly regarded Londer Vineyards will serve as our honorary chairs for this 20th anniversary edition of VA. Londer Vineyards is a dream come true. Their interest in wine dates back many years and even when they lived here (for 27 years) they had talked of one day being able to plant a vineyard and start a winery of their own. Their dream came true in Anderson Valley a decade ago. With consulting winemaker Greg LaFollete and current winemaker Rick Davis they make outstanding, critically acclaimed Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer. We are thrilled to have Larry & Shirlee here once again for the fun and festivities.
